Oil separators

Separators of petroleum substances

The separators are cylindrical tanks made of high-density polyethylene HDPE with a horizontal or vertical axis.

Use as part of parking lot drainage systems and protection against leaks of petroleum substances at gas stations, transport bases and car workshops.

They are used to purify rainwater and oily technological sewage, which contain petroleum-derived compounds and sediments (sand, dust, solid pollutants).

HDPE Separator

Separators are designed to separate light contaminants, which include gasoline, diesel oil, heating oil, mineral oils, etc.

The selection of the separator depends on the water flow rate through the separator. When calculating the water flow rate, the type and size of the area from which the sewage comes, the intensity of rainfall in a given region and the density of the separated substances should be taken into account.

The following types of separators produced by S plastic can be distinguished:

  • SG – separators intended for gravity cleaning with a vertical axis of foundation. Removal of petroleum contaminants is carried out by the process of sedimentation and flotation (the separator is not equipped with a lamella filter). The separators are manufactured in the nominal flow range from Q=1 l s to Q= 20 l/s;
  • SRP – a separator with a vertical axis of foundation with a built-in lamella filter and automatic closing. The separator does not have a sludge chamber, therefore it is required to use a sand trap before the separator. The separators are manufactured in the nominal flow range from Q=1 l s to Q= 20 l/s;
  • SRK – a separator with a vertical axis of foundation with a built-in lamella filter, automatic closing and a sludge chamber. The separators are manufactured in the nominal flow range from Q=1 l s to Q= 15 l/s;
  • SR – separators with a horizontal axis of foundation with a built-in lamella filter, automatic closing and a sludge chamber. The separators are manufactured in the nominal flow range from Q=2 l s to Q= 450 l/s; As standard, separators are equipped with chimneys and connection stubs. Depending on the design needs, it can be equipped with a storm bypass.
